April 11th, Syngenta Corporation¡¯s HSE Manager, Mr. Atkinson brought a 3-person team to Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, to carry out a two-day manufacturing process audit at our pyriftalid plant.
The audit was hosted by Assistant Plant Manager Jin Wang; Pilot Plant Manager Chunhe Yang, Assistant Plant Manager Benqin Zou and personnel from various departments involved in this project also participated in the meetings. The two sides held straightforward discussions in a friendly atmosphere¡£Syngenta places a lot of importance on resolving health, safety and environmental problems encountered during chemical production; these three main aspects were encompassed by this audit.Throughout Syngenta¡¯s thorough evaluation, the detailed answers given by personnel from our institute to questions concerning hidden dangers in the manufacturing process, as well as contingency plans to resolve each of them, were approved by the other party.At the same time, Syngenta Corporation gave excellent suggestions concerning design and installations in the plant. Syngenta Project Manager for pyriftalid, Mr. Fulton said, ¡°The president of Syngenta Corporation is highly satisfied with this enterprise¡¯s HSE work.¡±He indicated that working with SYRICI has been very pleasant and believes that we can maintain a longterm cooperative relationship.
The outcome of the two-day audit was Syngenta Corporation¡¯s approval of the design and installation of the pyriftalid plant, as well as high praise for the emphasis that SYRICI has placed on the pyriftalid project and its large investment of capital, personnel and time.Nigel ___ indicated that although SYRICI¡¯s production conditions cannot compare with those of Swiss factories, he is well aware of SYRICI¡¯s efforts and all the steps that the institute is taking in order to meet Syngenta¡¯s requirements.This project is approved to start production as planned.
When the audit ended, Pilot Plant Manager Yang Chunhe said, ¡°This is the first time that Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry has completely passed an HSE audit.This is very important to us.¡±At the same time, he pointed out that the audit process has provided great experience for future cooperation with Syngenta and other multinational companies.The disparity between SYRICI and Syngenta is a disparity in the two companies¡¯ circumstances.It is our wish as well as our belief that we will do our work even better and that as we improve product quality we will all the more stress HSE. |
