On Feb 21st 2012, SYRICI held the celebration at Shenyang Hotel for obtaining the GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) international certification. The leadership from National Technology Ministry, related ministries and commissions, local government of Liaoning, Sinochem Group, SYRICI’s partner and some scientists attended the celebration.

Mr. Yang Zhe, director of social development of NTM, Mr. Gong Liming, vice president of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Department, Mr. Fu Lijie, vice director of Chinese Society of Toxicology and American Academy of Science, Mr. Han Gensheng, vice president of Sinochem Group and general manager of Sinochem co., Ltd, and Mr. Li Bin, vice president of Sinochem Group and president of SYRICI jointly began the ceremony, which was presided by Mr. Xu Weichang, executive vice president of SYRICI.

Mr. Li Bin, vice president of Sinochem Group, party secretary and president of SYRICI, made the welcome speech to our guests. Mr. Yang Zhe, Mr. Chen Tiechun, director of ICAMA, Mr. Gao Yingxin, derector of Chemical Registration Center of MEP, and Mr. Fu Lijie delivered warm remarks, congratulated SYRICI and showed their high expectation.

In the speech of Mr. Han Gensheng, he appreciated the strong support and concern from the related ministries and commissions and local government of Liaoning. He also gave a higher request to our scientists after obtaining the certification.

In the afternoon, the guests visited the two GLP laboratories.

With the support from related ministries and local government of Liaoning, SYRICI’s GLP evaluation organization passed the Dutch government GLP international certification, one of the OECD members, which means a lot to SYRICI. It made the safety evaluation experimental data be recognized internationally. From now on we don’t need to send our exported chemicals any more to the foreign GLP laboratories to be tested, which will reduce the cost and time, so that we can export our pesticide products as a self-owned brand, raise the price of the pharmaceutical and pesticide with proprietary intellectual property rights. At the meantime, it’s of the great significance to the standardization of national safety evaluation experiments, environmental safety and public health.
