On June 21st, the 2013 degree conference was held at the conference room 1. Mr. Li Bin, president of degree jury, vice-president of Sinochem Group, president of SYRICI, hosted the conference and 8 jury members attended the conference.

The meeting heard the basic information of 2013 graduates, considered 2013 master dissertation, awarded master degree of engineering to 10 students by voting, awarded “Excellent Paper” to Xu Ying, and also deliberated and adopted 2014 master tutor list.

Mr. Li spoke at the meeting, pointing out that the postgraduates trained by an enterprise had to choose a subject that meets the needs of enterprise development. He stressed that in recent years, on of the reasons for obtaining few important achievements had been the lack of the guidance of technical theory. The research of technical theory is a complicated work. Our tutors could play the learning ability advantage of the students, and choose the subjects about the basic theory. Otherwise, the period of the research could be long; the regular admissions will assure the continuity of the research and then keeping the improvements of the technical knowledge.

In the meanwhile, the administrative department is required by Mr. Li to strengthening ideological education, including the education of style and safety, to design the course system that includes academic morals, thesis writing, safety education, etc. We have to improve continually the postgraduate cultivation quality, provide the high-level theses, and contribute to SYRICI’s scientific research and development.
