On Aug 13 and 14, the Science & Technology Dept. of Sinochem held the review meeting about cooperative R&D projects at SYRICI. Mr. Li Bin, vice- president of Sinochem, party secretary and president of SYRICI; Mr. Yao Lixin and Mr. Yang Wei, general manager of Sinochem’s Science & Technology Dept.; Mr. Xu Weichang, executive vice-president of SYRICI; Mr. Gong Dangsheng, vice-president of SYRICI; and Mr. Ren Jiangang, president of ZRICI, attended the meeting.

The management and technological personnel of the undertaking unit of the project, related personnel of S&T Dept., Analysis & Evaluation Dept., Accounting Dept. and Finance Dept. participated in the review. They listened the report offered by Prof. Lin Long of University of Leeds, evaluated the management, the progress and the plan for next step of each subject.

The convocation of the meeting marks the smooth progress of the cooperative subjects. The participants have a further understanding of Sinochem-Leeds cooperative projects. The communication at the meeting furthers the research direction of advanced materials, and also helps the Advanced Materials Research Institute improve their scientific research quality.
