Recently, Dr. Zhang Lixin from SYRICI has been chosen to the CPC’s Organization Department the 10th Recruitment. He’s the first high-level personnel that have been selected to the scheme.

The Recruitment is a program of global experts, which means from the year of 2008, in 5 to 10 years, about 2000 experts will be introduced to China to develop the high-tech industry and to lead the emerging discipline.

Zhang Lixin got his master degree of science at SYRICI in 1993. In 2004 he got his doctor degree of organic chemistry at University of Leeds. In Jan. 2009, he become CTO of Almac Group and took charge of new drug design and synthesis and program management. In 2013 he was introduced to SYRICI as overseas high-level talent to work on new pesticide research. In the past years’ of research, Zhang Lixin obtained several achievements: SYP-Z048, SYP-Z071, and SYP-1620. These new types of fungicides are significant in the history of new pesticide of China.
