Recently, more than 10 students, guided by President Zhang from Chemical Engineering Institute of Liaoning University, visited the SYRICI’s Institute of Chemical Advanced Material. Director Liu, from the Lab III of the Institute, introduced several laboratories to them, like: Dye synthesis, fine chemical, polymer synthesis and R&D of advanced materials. This visit aimed at making them a first understanding of the purpose of the chemical engineering research and how to turn the achievements into industrialization.

During the visit, the interpreter explained the experimental methods and equipment updates of the institute, analyzed deeply the industrial R&D and laboratory work, which made the students understand that the industrial R&D was more closed to large scale production.

The students showed that, through this visit, they would have more passion to their major study, and to their future career. They would love to devote to the experiment research, to see the succeed and failure by doing the experiments for themselves, to feel the research ambient in the lab and to improve their professional ability.
