On Sep 18th and 19th, cosponsored by CIESC dye committee, national dye industrial information center, dye industrial technology innovation strategic alliance and national key laboratory of fine chemical engineering of DLUT, the 13th dyestuff seminar was held successfully in Dandong. The topical subject was green and environmental protection, aiming at promoting the progress of our national dye industry, transforming the dye enterprise’s development mode and strengthening the dye industry. 137 participants from 55 universities and colleges all over the country, scientific research institutions, enterprises and public institutions attended the meeting. Mr. Xu Weichang, executive vice president of SYRICI, director of national engineering research center of CIESC, director of national dye industrial information center, made the opening speech.

During the conference, 18 specialists and scholars made reports. Prof. Cheng Di and Prof. Meng Mingyang made reports respectively, which were “the industrial wastewater treatment technology research and engineering application of dye and intermediate” and “technology improvement of H-acid cleaner production”. There were 75 received academic papers and research reports at the meeting, which including 67 were selected to the memoir. All the papers and reports reflected the latest development of the national dye and related industries.

This meeting would be significant to increase the technical level of the national dye industry and to consolidate the leading position of SYRICI in the national dye field.
