On Sep 14th, organized by the retirement office and the youth league committee, the second speech of the conference began to be told. The former vice president of SYRICI, Professor Li Zongcheng gave the lecture. Executive vice president Xu Weichang hosted and nearly 200 people enjoyed this scientific feast.

This series of conference are prepared by the retired experts of SYRICI, which are high-level scientific research conferences. The first speech told by Professor Fu Dingyi received consistent praise. This time “the history of pesticide research and development” given by Professor Li Zongcheng was also very welcomed. Prof. Li united his years of experience and several important scientific research projects, during which including the national demand and historical turning point of the 1970s and 1980s. It has been a high-level and professional, also a historical lesson. Three generations of researchers gathered together and discussed the future of SYRICI.
