New breakthrough on Staining Technique of Supercritical Carbon Dioxide

Recently, notice from national engineering center of dyestuff of SYRICI that the supercritical carbon dioxide no water staining technique under self-development gets a break through progress. After the setting out stage of the special dyestuff for wool, the data from Jinjiang certification center presents that the special dyestuff has already reached the industrial high level and the dye effect and the number of color system had reached national advanced level.

 

Comparing with the traditional technique, the supercritical carbon dioxide dye has the following benefits: no pollution, zero release, no use of additives, no cleanout after dye, high usage and anhydrous dye. Aiming at traditional dye upgrade, the research team found another way to proceed the constant design and repeated tests and finally created the supercritical special dyestuff suitable for wool. The center also signed with Dalian Polytechnic University and China Textile Academy the strategic cooperation agreement of the supercritical carbon dioxide no water dye technique.

 

According to the project manager Dr. Wang Ying, our national printing and dyeing industry has many advantages like lower equipment investment comparing with foreign countries, existing equipment meeting technical needs, etc. After the industrialization, this technique will contribute to the cleaning production and promote sustainable development capacity of the printing and dyeing industry.
