  • Chemical Advanced Materials

    The original Dyestuffs Research Institute, officially became the Research Institute of Chemical Advanced Materials in 2011. Its primary areas are research on synthesis of dyes, organic pigments, advanced materials and chemical engineering, lubricating oil, related auxiliaries and commercialization process and applications as well as R&D of intermediates and other functional fine chemicals. The institute is the largest, most complete and integrated dyestuffs research organization in China nowadays.

  • Biology & Pharmaceutical

    In December 2016, the biotechnology research office was renamed as the Institute of biology and medicine, with biotechnology research office and Medicine Research Office under it. In 2014, it became the executive director unit of the innovation pilot alliance of the Ministry of science and technology "biopesticide and biological control industry technology innovation strategic alliance", and in 2016, it became the key technical support platform of Shenyang Chemical Research Institute, the vice director unit of the "China soil environmental remediation industry technology innovation strategic alliance".

  • Chemical Industry Safety Technology & Engineering

    Since 2006, the center of chemical safety technology and engineering of Shenyang Chemical Research Institute has taken the lead in the construction of chemical safety technology and engineering platform in China. The concept of precise process has been put forward for the first time. According to the classification of chemical materials, process and runaway reaction, the systematic research method, process risk assessment method and assessment standard of reaction risk have been developed.

  • Testing and Evaluation

    is dedicated to the evaluation and testing for the pesticides and chemicals, toxicity screening and preclinical evaluation of pharmaceuticals, identification and classification of hazardous chemicals and wastes, and national and international standard setting etc. It provides one-stop service for the whole life cycle safety of chemicals for domestic and oversea customers.
